Faulconer Gallery explores artistic traditions of India's indigenous communities; hosts the exhibition's first stop on its North American tour starting Sept. 22, 2017.
Presenting exhibitions of regional, national, and international art year-round, Faulconer Gallery is the nucleus of Grinnell’s Bucksbaum Center for the Arts. Temporary exhibitions and a permanent collection of more than 6,000 objects offer diverse classroom and research learning opportunities, and with a variety of creative outreach programs — including lectures, readings, concerts, performances, even yoga — the gallery is a valuable link between the College, the community, and the wider region.
The Faulconer Gallery also administers the Print and Drawing Study Room, located on the lower level of Burling Library. This space is used for classes, occasional exhibitions, and for viewing works of art by appointment. Hours of operation can be found on our "Visit" page.
